Wet basement work this Wednesday

    Worked all day long today. I just can't used to the fact that work takes me so much longer now a days! Pi$$es the heck out of me. :mad:

    Got the basement put back together yesterday! :rootintootin:

    Now, I can watch TV (netflix-vudu) down here as well as laptop station.

    Sad part is, they'll be here to add some more watergaurd in about a week. The mess should be pretty contained though.

    Just saw this thread today. Before I retired, I worked at a building that was poured in place concrete built in 1923. Every time we would have more than 1/2” of rain, the basement would fill up with water coming in where the slab joined the footers(interior and exterior walls). They installed a similar product on the interior walls, but also included a dimpled membrane attached to walls that had ground contact to prevent any future leaks.

    Update.

    Today is the day that the workers return and add some more water guard to eliminate the seeping water from under the raised/poured concrete pad of the laundry.

    In pic #2, you can see a trail of where the water was leaking. But at 1 degrees OAT, there isn't much water to be leaking into the basement....that's why is has dried up some!

    They should be here in 1 1/2 hour.
