It seems the last few years we had planned to go, I'm glad we went when we did, we had a very nice 100 + mile trip. In pic 0093 there were some people who ended up laying down on the rocks, it looked like they were taking a small nap. Before the guy sided up with his honey, he had a metal detector in a small pool of water.

They just mentioned on the radio that this area will be at peak in 10-14 days, it looks like the wind this weekend will take care of that, we'll see.
I suspect wind and rain will be making our color season a bit short too. Lots of leaves on the roads now already. Our road is beginning to take on that paved look.
