Dawn, son Matt, and myself hit the trails this evening. Before we knew it our older neighbor hoped in (not pictured). Just thought I'd share....
The only trail in is directly out back due to cliffs on the northern side, boulders to the south and neighbors property butts up against. The main trail goes in due east (at this point one can go left, and there is around 3 acres of a loop trail that hugs the cliffs and then an old copper ore rr bed a ways below) Sticking to the main trail, after going east, it turns south. It goes south for awhile with 1 other trail veering to the SW that runs awhile and meets the main trail again. This shoots west, then south, down a sag where the boulders get really huge. (Ive gotta take some pics to post, they are cool!) Lastly, the main trail turns north, then west again, back up the hill (somewhat steep) to the main trail, which overall is a lolipop trail. There is one other trail coming back, past the side trail I spoke of, that continues east. I re-routed due to a blowdown (haven't cut here yet, mostly small stuff). This trail runs down another sag, can be wet, and runs to a field (which is a common area). The field is just an out and back, which then runs parallel to the old rr grade (which may be a rails to trails system in a couple years) continues N/NW when it finally meets back up with the main trail. Thats about it except for all the side trails into the different cutting areas.
