Sure it is, but nowadays you have many landowners with trailcams jamming up the local police with reports of people walking across part of their property. My local police get this all the time and really won't do anything unless something more than just trespassing happened. They have other priorities and I understand that. In the case of this FB marketplace guy, he doesn't seem very smart and maybe it would help if the local police paid him a quick visit to educate/scare him.
