Enjoy your wood time men! My basement flooded again so I gotta play in water this weekend.

Sorry to hear that. Flooded basement is a priority, good luck.

No woodpile stuff here except taking some pieces off of the piles to give to a friend and some more off to burn in the pit Sat. evening.
We are having our annual small group church pool party here tomorrow, it started out as about 12 people and it looks like it may end up around 30. Pool will get a workout and thankfully I had made up extra burgers to freeze for our use. Lots of yummy side dishes, desserts and homemade ice cream. GOOD FOOD, GOOD FELLOWSHIP, GOOD TIMES, GOD BLESS

It's been hot here in PA, but this weekend I plan on starting to CSS some of the Ash I've been gathering from along the roads here. It's going to take me a lot of weekends to work through all the Ash I already have, and I plan to bring in more.

This evening I spent time using the tractor to clear more area to store the Ash timber I've yet to bring in. All my current timber storage areas are full!! I'm feeling a little greedy, but I can't bear to see it all that quality Ash just laying along the road sides.

Well it's not a sugar, it's a red. But there's a whole lot of it. Two of them in fact. I didn't even make a dent in it.

I've been hitting the wood piles hard during the cool hours of the morning and evening that last month. The father in law and the kids want to do some fishin', so I'm taken a break this weekend! Fishing it is!!

No firewood related stuff for me, but a busy weekend. I'm taking off from Thursday through Monday for a stay-cation. Thursday I installed a new oven and cook-top, replacing (perfectly good) 30 year old units with more modern stuff to keep the wife happy. Yesterday we took the kids to the children's museum and walked around downtown, hitting up a few of the water splash pads along the Ohio River. Today we're heading to the lake to play on the beach and try out our new stand up paddleboard, and tonight's the church festival where I'll donate heavily in the form of children's game and beer tickets. Sunday morning we're going hiking and the rest of the day is normal weekend chores.

Not sure what's in the plan for Monday, I need to clean and detail my car because I want to list it for sale this week and I know my wife wants to go do something like ride bikes. I'm pretty sure a nap will be needed before going back to work as well!

    My morning sucked though:mad:
Craigslist ad for Maple logs, it was an address in the ad, ad said, if the ad is up there is still wood there, NOT
Only 10 minutes away but still a waste of my time

Change of plans here today. Stopped raining by 7 this morning, called the guy who bought my pine logs and he is here milling them. Making 1" by 10" by 12' for barn siding.
