Brad, I have 0.0 Oak on my property. I do not lack for hardwoods at all, but I live some oak and black locust. I do have volumes of hickory, beech, sugar maple, ironwood and ash. Hope you had a good weekend.

Thanks, nice to get it out of there as I told him I would (I very much doubt anyone else was going to do it). Dumped some at my friend Lefty's and my drop off the rest later, unless I get some ambition to noodle and drag to the backyard. Already have plenty of projects/wood to keep me busy for the year. Some of this may just get dumped in his brush pile as they've been sitting on their face for a year plus, so I was told by the homeowner. Lots of worms under them that got the interest of a couple of Robins while I was there.

Well, we got the Silver Maple we were after. Also added a 14” Ash. Brother hit a nail and sucked it up into the tensioner somehow, bent the screw and tweaked his oiler cover plate on his 359 green cap. It’ll probably make a cord for his stack[IMG]

I stacked the wood from last weekend. Off the ground and on pallets. It’s for the 21/22 season. I’ll keep working in the wood piles till it’s stupid hot. I prefer 30-50 degrees but I’ll take what I can get.

No wood cutting this week end unless a tree were to get blown over in the fence line. We are trying to get the last 15 post drove this week.

Took out this Dead Elm Last Wednesday. Cut ruts so deep I expect to catch some trout out of there soon.

Car show Saturday in St. Johns Mi or Bad Axe MI. We do the mint fest in St. Johns and like the people there a lot.

Sunday is my day off. I go shoot sporting clays in the morning and if some golf game isn't interfering, watch a hockey game in the afternoon till the cup has been won.
