And forget what I use at my farm property for field maintence of invasives or edge control or around the buildings.. I am just talking on my small 3/4 acre property I live on. There is the gravel and drive that I spray to keep weeds down and fence line and edgeof flowerbeds that iI make a boarder in.
Well it looks like it's working. I just to reapply a bit to kill off the rest, a lotta better result than prior.... Thanks for all the help....
I put about 3 gallons of Barrier down on the gravel, which is imazapuer and glyphosate. And about 5 gallons of glyphosate around the place.
Old farmer Tom RIP lived up the road from me, used to tell me to use 2-4-D 2D4 or 2D40 something like that.
The first one is right 2-4 D. Its a broad leaf killer. You can spray it over your lawn, it will kill weeds but not your turf grasses.
By all means get the generic and save your money. But the Seralini study has been proven to be a joke no matter how many times or ways he tries to publish it.
I use both 41% glyphosate and Pramitol on my long driveway. Pramitol will kill and then helps prevent more vegetation from reoccurring, which is good in those places that your constantly spraying with glyphosate. Pramitol is expensive however compared to generic Roundup. I only use it the most problematic places because of the cost. It's really nasty stuff too... Wash your hands....
I think I'm seeing results that I like. I need to reapply places that I didn't get the first round. But there seems to a lot more brown than normal. Can a person put in food coloring to see where they hit?
You needs to go buy the dye. Its usually blue. Its VERY potent. Its on the same isle in tractor supply as the herbicide. Not sure if lowes/hd sells it though, but any lawn care store should or landscape place. Its like $15qt but one little splash in a gallon will make it blue and the residue in the tank will make the next blue but won't be strong enough to show on the weeds. It would take a lot of food color to see it id think and would cost a good bit. The dye says it can reduce the effectiveness but I had e not seen it.
