We almost bought a unit about a year ago but we never did, we just have a wireless that gives the temps.
We've been in the low 50's the last two mornings, feels great. Once the leaves are off the trees, I'll fell more ash before EAB gets it, I'm hoping for another 10 face cord or just over 3 cord.
Another cold (?) windy wet day here. Started out right a 49. ……..but.....it did dry up and make it into the 60's this afternoon...…….
We had 48 this morning with another 48 forecast for Sunday morning, once the leaves are off the trees more ash are coming down.
We did get our 48 this morning, if NOAA is correct, we could get 1.50 inches of rain starting tonight through Labor Day.
Still cooler days (temps only getting into the 60's at best) but the nights are into the 40's. All this translates into 99 lbs wanting a fire in the woodstove at the cottage!
We had 39.4 this morning but the only thing I did wood related was change the oil in both splitters. I'll cover four more face cord before Monday (rain) that will give us 17 or 18 covered up ready for winter.
Can't believe it......we are in a warm spell here! mid 70's greeted and treated us today-but the sky was completely cloudy.
