Well I found the paper at an online link here: https://www.davisinstruments.com/product_documents/weather/spec_sheets/fars_sheet.pdf It's only 4 pages. Worth reading.
interesting......its dated 1999,i know they have made improvements since then.my sensor suite has 5 radiation shields on it instead of 4. heres a quote from Davis "a fan aspirated version is recommended if temperature accuracy is a concern and the unit will be installed in a location where the temperature is REGULARLY ABOVE 90°F with little or no moving air". it was hot today and it measured the same as my other thermos..... but i like toys so next time ill get the turbocharged version!!!
Hope any FHC’rs on cape cod are ok, mum sent a pic of a hotel down the street from here with the roof blown off!
We received some well needed rain overnight with the temp this morning at 60. It looks like a crappy weekend with rain and lightning in the forecast so I'll do some inside jobs unless the weather changes.
We had 61 this morning with the rest of the day being muggy out so not much done except some cleanup in the garage.
We had another morning temp of 61, more muggy weather for the first half of this week but it's time to split and stack more firewood.
We had 66 this morning with the temp at 74,humidity 79 % and the dewpoint 67 with a soft rain at the moment.
We had a very nice 51 this morning, we might have some high winds tomorrow afternoon but hopefully they miss us.
