And having it CSS is like having money in the bank! Looks like a pile of gold bars when the sun hits it just right.
One problem perhaps people are not seeing is that the timber business is just like any other. I recall not that many years ago it was pretty easy to get $1,000 per tree (oak). Today, one struggles to get $150-200 per tree (oak). In fact, I know one fellow who purchased 80 acres of mostly oak. Figured he'd make a lot of dollars on this one. First buyer advised him to wait 10 years. Second buyer advised him to cut about 1/3 and the average price per tree he offered was $100.
Bet these investors don't even have time to go out & drop a few trees, then CSS a few rows. Don't even know they are missing out on all that fun . Probably can't see the forest for the trees . LOL
