Well I suppose if it doesn't work out and you can't find a good man perhaps you can find yourself a good tree:
here's a pic of me and my stihl at a recent party--I turned my head right when the snap of the camera happened-pity--we were arguing whether the Hendrix lyric "let me stand next to your fire" was better than Springsteen's "can't make a fire without a spark"--I took a potty break and when I came back he'd hooked up with a poulan and I was stag again--that ever happen to anyone? (that girl was there the whole time and never said a word)--and GS do you barter?
what a nice selection of antiques--is that a rambler or the old French automobile that columbo drove all through the series--a pergot? something like that---too bad you're not on that north/south route with the longest garage sale in America--you'd be a rich man (or maybe you already are--or are in other ways I'm sure) marshall tucker band--fire on the mountain
It is a 1964 Studebaker Commander, I am a Studebaker collector. There are 3 trucks and 2 horse drawns in the building and 2 more around the side you can't see. Columbo drove a Peugeot 403, it was a rare car with only about 500 convertibles produced in 1959.
WOWthat's some nice ride there--do you have the horse to pull the wagons too?and is the old studie in the pic the worse of the lot or the only one that needs refurbished at this point? had anyone bid on it? oh wait I'm supposed to be bartering not buying more...
No horses, but still have 5 horse drawn Studebaker vehicles. Here are several of them. Search "Guido Salvage" on Photobucket and you can see more of my treasures.
get out!! you do have the goods--I can't imagine those not being in demand by a collector or two and where does all the time come from for this "hobby"? do not despair there is someone out there for all your ...well you might know where that statement is going--I'm told that all the time--as far as bartering is concerned I consider myself a minimalist so I could barter my time which is not out of the question --what needs done?
I need to sell 400+ chainsaws, 7 farm tractors, 2 crawler loaders, a forklift, 5 horse drawn Studebakers, 9 Studebaker cars and trucks, 2 IH trucks, several thousand bf of lumber and the leftovers from my sawmill. There is also farm equipment (plows, disc, bushhog, scraper blades, a grain drill, post hole digger, etc.), car parts, tractor parts, garden tools, hand tools, etc., etc.
