Some great pics Rope I'm not sure of all of the species you caught, but looks like a great time by all. So, how do you put up your fish for winter? Just freeze them? Ya wore out your deckhand.. https://firewoodhoardersclub.com/fo...5b02-e5cc-4d30-a087-e727cdfbea2a-jpeg.311448/
Looks like you slayed them on this trip...When's the fish fry, i could eat me some of those Flatty Fillets!! What do they put in the water up there, Looks like it is turning your kids hair green!!
FREEDOM.!!!! It’s what happens to feral-non mask, non mandated kids in Alaska. They come home from hockey camp a little different then when they left. When I asked what happened to you hair… “hockey hair”was the in unison answer.
A guy I know just got back from his first Alaska fishing trip on Tuesday night. We was pouring concrete, me in the mixer delivering, he was supposed to be helping his brother in law place it. Most of his time was telling me about his adventure. He was just a little bit pumped up
We wound up with three silvers/coho between 6-7 pounds. Not the haul we hoped for, it was a great day, his 3 siblings and mom joined us for about 3 hours before the weather turned.
Some from today, we have had awful weather for the last 2 days have a cooler of coho, one white king, couple of quillback and black rockfish.
Wound up with 40 pounds of coho, 3 pounds of white king salmon, 3 pounds of Rick fish. And a great end of the season.
Occasionally, the rivers near me are faster flowing and difficult here in the mountains. On the Kenai peninsula their rivers don’t have the elevation drop and are way more fishable. The ocean is 6 hours closer than those rivers are.
