VA issues, problems etc...!

srry man was just lettin u know that i like most of the dav ppl but also lettin u know what i was told by the new guy they have workin for them in my area

I have some bad....maybe not severe......issues with anxiety. But the first time I was in the VA hospital for heart issues, I told a nurse that I was concerned with the fluttering and heavy beating of my heart. And she just tapped me on the shoulder and said that "we all have problems to deal with, and we all need to find a way to deal with them". I just sank my head back into the pillow. I am a 30% disabled combat veteran.

 

I would definitely suggest discussing this with your Primary care physician.

They should be able to set you up with an appt with a counselor.

 

WeldrDave id say go ahead and talk to your buddy there to i wanted to also tell ya i was denied medical care for broken ribs by the va where i live by my pcp dr kesari now his nurses tell me it was because of the top brass at the hospital that wouldnt allow any1 to recieve health care from them and dr kesaris 2 nurses have very polite and profess

 

WeldrDave i also wanted to say 2 im a bit wooried about the va seeking retribution on me for complaining

 

last thing and dont get me wrong my pcp dr kesari has been fairly descent and bit better than most drs at the beckley va

 

ok guys just so u know ive tried to get help with problems ive been havin with the va and got nowhere and ive been told 2 if u are vet u dont ever deserve medical care under any circumstances whatsoever even if u were messed up in a warzone

 

I've never heard such words said, and I'd be talking to the lead administrator if I did.

I'm not calling you a liar, as I've no proof to provide one way or the other.

But I find this extremely hard to accept/believe.

There's got to be more going on with your situation, either dishonorable discharge, or a complete lack of documentation of your injuries.

Even then, you are able to receive care based on income. A copay might be involved, but I do not see the VA turning it's back on a veteran without some sort of reason.

I don't feel we're getting all of the information.

 

chaz believe me i understand that ive had some all sorts of problems with the va and only one with the dav the va 1 i was told by one of there covering er drs shortly after moving to my area after an appt i had whent there and asked if could just get my hip checked out as it was bothering me at the time and i kinda forgot to ask my pcp dr to do it and ask him a few questions so i go check in with there urgent care dept they said fine np and got me checked in all with np and when they got me back 2 exam room the doc came in asked y i was there i explained to him that i came in just to get my hip checked out and an answer or 2for a questions regarding my hip problem he acknowledged that he understood and told me it was highly illegal for anyone to recieve care there and if i stayed i wouldve been arrested on the spot i didnt end up pressin the issue b/c i had a multi tude of things runnin through my head on top of bein ticked off and when i reported the issue with there patient advocate she was little befuddled to took my report told me theyd get back too me within about 10 days or so i believe and when they got back to me told me she got in touch with top admin and they werent gonna do anything about it that was one of the bigger things that stands out before that there dept was pretty good for them checkin me out when i fell off my roof onto my head and when i stepped on rusty nail my pcp dr wouldnt give me the time of day for follow up care after 2 of those said events and super sick after stepping on nail and his nurse was glaring at me like she wanted to fight me for bringin up that i was sick and wanted/neededd to be seen after the nail thing tried switchin drs and this happened since ive moved in 2014 to were im at atm and 1 or 2 similar problems at my old area ive honestly tried seekin help from to admin at the place after being told they love to hear this sorta stuff to try and take care of it but nothing ever came of it ive tried getting in contact with lawyers to try and get help starting with disability lawyers even though technically not there ao but more to get referral on to who may be best to try and help and after all of that i ended up pretty much nowhere due to the area i live in

 

and 2 i do have an honorable discharge i came outta the usmc infantry field as a rifleman and honestly ive heard of alot of similar stories coming out of different va's around the country

My Father, Mother before she passed and i are/were getting VA care. Things take a little while to get done sometimes. But i have never heard of the issues that you are having.

 

i have buddy and got absolutely nowhere i also tried calling vamc huntington like he said and alls i got from them was an automated message that said " they were completely closed down due to pandemic "

 

in the area im at know appears to be 1 of the worst 1's they just had a dr within the past yr get arrestted for raping alot of ppl at the hoepital and 2 i got some from the dav tell me they aint gonna help then try and give u a medical check up with out a medical lisence as well as tell ne he got shot so that makes everybody fine and it makes me curious on how it cures my traumatic brain injury and major ligamental damage in both shoulders which had happend while still in among other things

 

Send the info as Dave requested what have you got to loose. He has some pretty good contacts. You need to use every opportunity you can get until you get results.
