I filled up one of the totes today to refresh the house supply. Stacked tight with oak. I LOVE not having to take the cart all the way to the wood stack. I need some of the metal cages too…
Here ya go! Drive down to Eau Claire... $25.00 a piece! That's SUPER cheap. https://eauclaire.craigslist.org/se...C totes&search_distance=11#search=2~gallery~0
I would have thought that WeldrDave would have gold-plated IBC totes anyway. Isn't that a Jersey thing?
How many cords will you be able to store in totes now? Also, are you thinking about stacking them with the tractor?
No, not stacking them, room is tight and not much room to drive the tractor around the yard. I want them to season good. I have 19 totes so 3 totes make a solid cord if you load them up good. I'm guessing I'll have a solid 6 cord and a bin for uglies. I should be fine. I want to have them all loaded by the end of April. Summer is to HOT to do a damm thing around here.
Well, I guess I have to revive this tread unintentionally The guy that was selling me the IBC totes called me Wednsday and asked if I needed/wanted any more totes. I said, "Not really" BUT... He said: "Well, I sold out of all my regular size totes, but I have 2 @ 325 gal totes, the bigger ones. I had to buy cleaner for my big machines and I have 2 totes, You want them"?? I'll be divorced soon.....
Seems like plenty to me, but your prices on ibc totes just in general sound kinda crazy up there, comparatively...
