    Rental car purchases is a pretty good option.

    If you know anyone in the field of rental cars, they usually get first pick on sales and supposedly know which vehicles are better than others.

    Other auction sites from GSA auctions, local and state municipalities (probably not maine though....) those sort of sites.

    I used to keep a vehicle a long time and "run it into the ground" (so to say) but lately have been traded in BEFORE they get past the point of no return. I have done well by adopting this policy and usually buy certified and/or lease returns/buy backs whatever they're called.

    I had too many cars with way over 265K on them and ended up with only a pittance for them at trade in or sell outright time.

    I’d buy a Tesla and spend a couple million putting up solar panels to charge it, of coarse not with my money but everyone else’s.
