    Mine is stacked covered right now it’s been raining here off and on. But, I’m adding wood, to replace the wood I’ve used this year. So, this will be stacked, uncovered until spring, then the whole stack will be totally uncovered until this coming fall. I’ve got a lot of really green wood at this time uncovered and waiting for spring time SUN!

    I'm in the stacked (some covered/some uncovered) camp AND a seller, rather than a consumer. Wood on the ground doesn't work for me as I want it to dry as quickly as possible to turn inventory. As a matter of fact, once the wood is bucked, it never touches the ground again, even during splitting. It's covered when the snow flies and not the rest of the year. Most of what I have is below 15% MC in 6 months or less.
