    Murphy’s law strikes again. I had a saw in the cab of my truck for the past month, up until yesterday that is. Of course that meant today I was destined to come across this dead ash that fell along the road, about 20 minutes from home. I grabbed whatever lengths I could hoist into the bed. Very solid, and will make just fine firewood. Hopefully the rest is still there when I go back with a saw.

    There’s still a few gypsy moth killed oaks close to my work but this came from the boondocks in Harwinton.

    That's sweet. :thumbs: Like barkless dead elm that's nice and solid. Dontcha with all dead ash came like that?
