The elf is Santa's helper, watching the kids during the day and reporting back to him every night if the kids have been good or bad. And he's a mischievous elf, so every night he shows up somewhere else and may or may not be hiding, or making a mess, or doing something he shouldn't. Last night ours got into the Halloween candy and spelled out "I'm Back!!" on the counter with M&M's, and left a mess of half eaten M&M's next to him and scattered the empty candy wrappers around the counter. The good thing is we didn't have to fight our daughter to get out of bed this morning, she woke up as soon as she heard me getting a shower so she could go find where the elf was.

Sounds like there is therapy in the future for some kid. :)

"Doctor, I don't know why but I run and hide when I see a short man dressed in red around Christmas time! I feel like he is watching my every move!"

^Lol. Well, my mom had me convinced when I was a kid that birds were Santa's agents and were spying on me. What was even worse, was that there were bird feeders suction cupped to the windows so those bastards could see right into the house and watch what I was doing!

Dennis, are you making the mystery leather wallets again this year? Or other leather projects?

I too would like to know if you're still involved with leather work- I was looking at a small tool pouch I have, and wondered what was used to "emboss" it, and thinking I would like to do something like that too... Would be neat to make some tool covers for some of my stuff. Just have no idea where to start!
