Tacomas are made for hauling firewood, new or otherwise.

That made be so but my woods would require a major cutting effort to get all the trails wide enough to accommodate a truck.
They are just wide enough for my atv and trailer and I like it that way.

Houston, we have a problem. Walked my woods today scouting for turkeys and discovered a blow out!

Yes many droppings and many places they scratched for acorns. But no gobbling. The next property owner away from me I heard turkeys gobbling over there.

Seems like the turkeys have a habit of always being on the neighbors property around here too.
    Good luck.

My plan was to get back into the woods today but it rained off and on all morning. Sun came out so I got my blow out restacked. It looks worse than it was took about 15 minutes. I should listen to my Dad he said never stack wood higher than your eyeballs.
Then I hauled one load the trails are still a little greasy so I bailed.

Well, I got everything picked up in my woods. So tomorrow I cut. Got three saws full of fuel and 1 gal of pre mix made up. That should last me a couple days. Then I hope my monster woods pile will be done.

I have 1 oak pallet and 3 plastic pallets standing by,,

When I got back from the woods there was a package from Amazon on the porch. Took me 5 minutes to apply some sticky tape black letters on the Taco tail gate. Then I rattle canned the shiny tail pipe with some high heat black.

Today was a pretty easy day. I mostly just fiddle farted around but I did get something done. A guy from town who bought rounds from me last year called and he wants more. “Do not split them”.
    yes sir
So I cut him a mixed bag. An oak that lost its top last July in our wind event:

    A bark falling off elm:

Then I found two black cherrys that up rooted:

got 40 rounds out of them

Still got pre mix so back at it tomorrow

The FHC swag shoppe if it ever reopens.

I think walt and maybe another member had a little black market going for FHC t shirts. Maybe there's a member with extra(s) that could send you one?
