He kept walking over to the open door as he knew they were in there. I spoil him with treats. As do a couple other dogs i see on a regular basis.

If you look at the pics from Joe's GTG back in May he has his eye on me in a couple of them.

Resplit the bigger splits yesterday and today they got stacked. Sort of a temporary stack as they will get mixed in with higher btu splits as i CSS them in the bay im filling. IMG_3920.JPG IMG_3923.JPG IMG_3924.JPG

Met up with Joe today as he had more tulip for me to take. One big log and a couple small ones with no bark. A few rounds of black locust thrown in for good measure. Thanks again buddy.:handshake: IMG_5706.JPG IMG_5707.JPG IMG_5708.JPG

I can't get over how many species of wood you find. Is Poplar a fast burning wood?

Yes, dries fast and burns well. Ideal shoulder season wood. They grow straight and tall.

Split the load right off the truck this morning. Good pile of TP. Lots of bundle quality splits. IMG_5713.JPG
BL. Wheelbarrow full of shorties. IMG_5712.JPG
Gotta get some racks built and get stacking. With this probably a couple cords of splits waiting for such.

Yes. TP doesn't last long int he firebox at all. Frequent reloads are the norm.
