Just for the hell of it I just scanned the bar code on the stove chows and it came up as catamount pellets in Adams Massachusetts. Thought they were made in pa

Energex bought the stove chow name from them and they just kept the same UPC code which came with the purchase IIRC.

Well, I initially purchased 2 tons of the Chows, i picked up a third one today. it is 23 degrees out tonight and windy, Breckwell running on level 2 and the house is a nice 74 degrees in the general living areas and 68 in the far bedroom. Quite happy with the Chows.

Yes, Energex owns the name and have them listed under their product patent's..........

Err technically Premier pellet owns them. But Energex owns Premier. Premier is the spin off of Energex for boxstore sales. Because Emergex sells to many stove shops and pellet dealers. They had to establish a sister company to sell them at boxstores or many dealers would get pevved. Difficult to explain, But many companies offer the same products to dealers and boxstores. But to keep the peace, They name them differently.

I'm gonna add some more pellets to the fire. My two tons were delivered today. Hats off to the driver who managed to get both skids pushed into the garage so I could move them with the garage doors closed and stay warm.

Now, I've got two different bags here. One skid was the old style, one the new.

Here's some info on the new bag:

    UPC New:

    UPC Old:

Using my scanner, old UPC came up as Catamount Pellets. No surprise there. The new one Conversation Concepts in Ohio? They sell/distribute item for pets.

Feel free to run a scan and let me know what comes up.

Been burning chows and they burn pretty good. Went to a Home Depot in east greenbush and went to buy a ton of chows because I figured every Depot has chows but I got FSU. Hope they burn as good.

Yup, well 40 min south but close enough. Want some higher end pellets but don’t really know of any place to buy them. Well I know of one place but he’s a little pricy but might have to get a ton from him.

Got two additional tons delivered today from Lowes. Not the greatest pellets but I got them at a discount because of a botched job Lowes did for me. Recently i had a window job done by lowes and the job took 4 weeks longer than what they originally told me because of some production issue they encountered. The store manager in order o keep my business told me that he would give me 20% off my purchase of pellets. so i got 2 tons of Green Supreme and 2 tons of Greene TEams. Greene Teams being delivered next week. Even on this delivery they managed to pizz me off, there are so far 6 bags water damaged which ill have to take back and get exchanged on Saturday.

Same in the pool biz, for the seller there is the additional perk of no price matching since the bag or bucket issue different chit.
