I am down to 4 tons and thought Id re-up on shoulder season pellets. saw these at the local TSC yesterday of which I got 5 bags before I commit to a few tons. Depot also has Stove Chows which I have burnt in the past and had decent results. Thoughts?

    Thanks
    Kat!!

Chows are good. What is the UPC number on those TSC bags, just curious to see what they are?

Isn't the Green Supreme a blend made by NWP?

I bought 2 bags for chows just to try and I’m pretty surprised with them. Dark ash but not a horrible amount and put out decent heat. Still have like 25-30 bags of blazers left from last year but I think I’m gonna get a ton of chows for the warmer weather and I’m gonna try and find some good pellets for colder times. A local guy has okie platinums but he wants $320 a ton.

I bought 2 bags of Green Supreme at HD and they're burning just fine in my picky stove, maybe it is a blend, not sure....

Need to go and get a couple Stove Chow to test as well as the one from local TSC.

Yep, Same as the NEWP blend. FYI, NEWP, Warm Front and Green Supreme's are all the same pellet in different bags. But they come from 3 or 4 different mills. So there has been a bit of variance in the past.

See the sticky thread on how to tell which mill they are from.
Reading the NEWP or Green Supreme bag code.

I like the chows better than the GS's I have tried. But mine were from the depot NY mill. Tried some Warm Fronts from the Jaffery NH mill that I like much better than the Depot NY stuff.
