The O'Malley's probably are OK just for shoulder season (although that price is high), but RUN (don't walk) away from the other 2 as fast and far as you can.
What do mean? Inferno "Gold" has got to be good. Or maybe that is just a euphemism for Inferno Clinkers I actually came close to buying a couple bags. I am a glass full kind of guy I guess.
They may surprise us? But I'm not running to get them as the cheapest I can find is $6.49/bag. Another is trying get $8, And I couldn't stop laughin!! Almost as bad as Wally wort trying to get $6 for Pennington's! Da games have begun!
Yup, you never know. They could be very good. I will buy some eventually but I only saw them for over 6 bucks a bag. Definitely not happening at that price.
WP, Nice!!! Where did you come across them at TSC? That would be the second shipment since the beginning of August I've heard of. Thanks.
I got my one bag for the year. Not buying any more until they come out with the Inferno Platinum line.
Got 'em at Lowes in Saugus MA, a trek through Bean town with the flatbed....a trip I'm not sure I'd make again on a weekday.
i got a ton of tsc in putnam connecticut.acording to the upc they are maine woods.they burn well and fairly clean in my enviro mini.
I may buy a few bags of the TSC branded MWP just to see what the Englander thinks of 'em. Good to have options...
This is helpful. I'm planning on heading up to the Putnam TSC this week - we already have a stash but wanted to try these out
newbinct, not sure how far the Putnam TSC trip is for you, but if you want I can check out what they have and let you know before you go. I was over there yesterday and they must have received 10 truck loads of North Americans. Problem is, they stacked them 2 high and 8-10 deep, essentially burying the other brands they have - including the MWPs, so there is very little accessible selection right now. Basically North Americans and Inferno Golds. Changes very quickly though, so let me know if you want me to check it out.
Thanks, ttdberg! I think I'm going to run over at lunch - it's only about 5 miles from my job. I never go that way b/c it's not on my way home but a lunchtime run is always a good excuse to head up north a bit Thanks for the heads up - maybe I'll head over later in the week and see the stack got any smaller and maybe I can pick up some MWP. I'm also fairly close to the New Milford TSC - I think I'll be over that way this weekend. It's always fun to pick up a few new pellets and see how they burn
