Just found these at a TSC in CT. Wonder if they are producing the tsc bagged stuff also? UPC comes back to Lignetics of Idaho.

Did you grab any for testing in the stove? Not sure if these are the same as the TSC branded horse bedding. I had read what those were presumed to be ages ago and I don't recall it being liggies.

I believe these are the ones I saw last week on sale for $5 but didn't notice the Liggie label on them...I must be slipping

Is weight density listed? That should indicate if they pack a punch?

This was discussed in the past. Don't remember if it was on this forum, or the "other one". Not sure if we ever determined if they're just re-bagged Ligs, or a separate cheaper pellet. At $5/bag, I'd buy a couple and do some "testing". Worst things that could happen are low heat or lots of ash.

At the very least, their softies!

    According to the Lignetics website:
    "Fuel wood pellets
Although the technology to create them is similar, wood pellets for fuel and those for animal bedding are two completely different products........"

I scored 3 bags today ,and I let Steve know he's got 1 for testing and I'll toss one in tonight ,I've only run 2 bags through the Harman since Sundays cleaning so that should give me a pretty good read on them .

That was at start up about 30 mins. ago ,then the flame settles in to it's normal height and they are pumping out the heat and the temps are dropping .
The outside temps ,inside toasty warm :fire:

Will can you double check the number? It's saying it's an incorrect number.

OK , just dumped in the 2nd bag . These are IMO very similar to Heatr's the only other softwood that I've burned . Light fluffy ash no caking in the burn pot can still see the 1st 2 rows of holes . Was 20* this am and house was a nice 72* :fire: Would I buy again ,yes @ $5.30 / bag had to pay tax on them :(not listed as fuel at least here in PA

That's my thoughts looking forward to my man :handshake: Steve's super test
    as always YMMV

Same here Will; gotta pay tax on that horse bedding since it's not sold as a heating product. Only kind I've seen here is the TSC branded stuff, but will keep an eye out for the Ligs in case they make an appearance. Can't wait to see the test results too!
