    Late summer,and the pickings are pretty good. I grabbed a small load today, and will probably go back next weekend for a little more. This stuff makes great kindling, and filler pieces for the Hardy OWB.

    If I had access to that, I’d be able to hear the house here with no trouble.
    Wouldn’t even mind having to work around the sawdust.

    There was a mill near us that used to let you come and get all the hardwood dimensional cutoffs your heart desired, all kiln dried and they'd even load it in your truck and/or trailer with the loader!

    I think they bought a pellet mill and that quit giving it away, but I'm not 100% sure. I burned a pile of it one year, many moons ago when I was starting out with the woodburning lifestyle.
