That's absolutely true. It's going to be out for 2017. GM too, will be going aluminum body by 2020, if not sooner. Smart moves.
Well, used to be anyways, I quit the stealership in '06, so maybe that has changed (probably not) They maybe wouldn't actually say it was "normal", but you wouldn't get any warranty work out of them for it either...
I really can't justify one either. But there's that used 6.0 crew cab f250 that might be one easy fix away from being stone reliable. Then again it may be a crank and a boat anchor. I should just wait for the new 4 door Ranger. That's all l really need to pull my ski boat, pick up random wood hoardages on my travels, go through fields to get to my freshly cut rounds, take my dogs and wife, haul motorcycles and random crap in back, and net respectable mpg. I swear most full size trucks get better mpg than my v8 Allroad.
Yeah, thread jacks happen. You didn't want to work on those u joints tonight anyway. Just like I didn't want to change the oil on my Audi tonight. It can wait another day.
Been alot of them 6.0s turned into Fummins around here...heck, I even seen a late 90s Chevy/Cummins conversion last night (probably a former 6.5 TD victim)
Uh oh. I didn't even know that existed until now. You may have started something wicked. I think the 250 in question is just before the cutoff for required emissions testing around here for diesels.
Lol. I know, that's why I said it. But seriously, this Audi's been very reliable. It eats tires though, part of the design though. Pneumatic springs, air compressor to adjust ride height about 4" from high to low, don't help with getting a lot of miles out of tires, but neither does a 40 valve v8 and AWD.
