Chvymn99 glad you were the one to walk away with the sign! I am pretty sure he said it was a 700 + mile drive (13 hrs there and 11 hrs home / time change from Eastern to Central). To have now traveled that distance a couple times? It deserves to go back to the state of Missouri.

I had a blast with the members I've met before and several new ones this year. Thanks Backwoods Savage and your wonderful wife Judy for hosting the event. You two have an amazing piece of property that is a prime location for a GTG!

Got it hung in my man cave... will have to get it with my other FHC lighted sign...But took the place of it currently. What a pleasure it has been to have it so far... it’s been a fabulous experience putting face with name and meeting each and everyone that I’ve met at Dennis’s GTg... worth every mile....... just got done rereading this whole thread... the places it’s been and where it will be in the future... the mileage it’s already got on it... in just a few years...

What's crazy is to think we cut that tree down on our farm 25+ years ago ran it through our mill and stacked the boards in our barn. Fast forward to 2016 and this crazy group of guys want to gather together and run saws and it just so happens that I had the room for such a gathering. My mom and sister decided we needed some decorations for the machinery shed where we set up the food and decided to make up this sign. Then Barcroftb won a saw and gave it to me for my nephews and we gave him the sign as thanks. Then the idea of having it travel around to various gtg and be shared amongst the members came about and now it's been all over it truly is humbling.

    ^^X2^^

But I do have one question..

Since when does a machinery shed, or food for that matter, need decorations??;)

It's a machinery shed.. nuff said, and parsley.. seriously?? They do know that used to be sequestering carbon.. right?

Nice to see that you've got the sign properly displayed in your mancave Chvymn99

Well decorations were a couple old double barrel shotguns, 2nd amendment themed signs, and tables made from big billets and slab wood from the sawmill. Parsley I'm not sure where that came from or if any was used in the food.
