Well.. I was going to hang it out in the screenhouse/mancave, but got to thinking about deep freeze and decided not to. The screenhouse is used weekly for playing cards, year round using propane heaters for a couple of hours.

I don't know if you'll get an answer to your question, Chris hasn't been on the forum.
IIRC, the slab of wood used for the sign was found in they're mill and they suspected it was cut by his grandfather possibly 50 years ago.

I feel guilty for having the sign for as long as I have had it. Since early November 2019. damm virus. I'd have passed it on well before now. Oh well.

Don't feel bad Mike. I had it for a few months holding it until I could hand it off at the next GTG.

The sign went for a ride today. Out of state, even. It got a good dose of fresh air at WeldrDave's new property, in NH.

Well, after caretaking for 9 months, the sign was given birth to a new life.

It is now in the Nutmeg State, under the stewardship of buZZsaw BRAD

    IMG_20200718_32385.jpg

The handoff took place at WeldrDave's place

    Winchester 7/18/20

I'll miss having it, but was way overdue to be handed off. Stupid virus.

Fortunately, Mwalsh9152 had a sharpie. I put my name, dates of ownership, and a "covid-19" notation.

Enjoy it Brad. It was a pleasure to have met you.
