    It does look like a conifer forest in the background - if so you are holding out on the "leaves"

    No, there are Hemlock in that area but it's not Hemlock.

    I'm not very good at tree identification, getting better on what's on our property.

    No hickory on our property, I did plant 6 red oaks last year, other than those we have nothing for oak on the lot either.

    Looks like Sugar maple, if there are not helicopters on the ground now
    Sugar maple is the only maple that seeds in the fall
