    At first the bark and tannish color reminded me of the catalpa i recently scored, but after seeing the split im in the mulberry camp. My splits from two months ago have turned reddish. Here is some i got at the dump last week. (locust also mixed in) Scarce wood around here. IMG_2351.JPG

    Snapped a pic of the little mulberry i have Kris_S . You can see the red ends from having been exposed to the elements for a bit. Yellow ends from fresh cut logs. IMG_2504.JPG

    This... I don't see much of out around here, but yeah, that's mulberry. Great wood with as lot of BTU's.
