I don't really have wood to harvest on my property. There used to be some big trees here, and I am taking care of the few that are growing, but what's left are brambles, willow and a trash heap around some old stumps... The problem is horses. And the things they will get into trouble with. Like a Suffolk Punch called "Duke" (first pic), who likes to scratch himself on said willow in the trash pile... So, since I picked up this used saw, might as well use it. My first Stihl BTW. I'm cutting back the willow and hauling out the trash bit by bit. It's not firewood per se, but it'll burn. Oh, we'll talk about the saw, the ridiculous bar that came with It, what I've done to it, and what's next in another post. Cheers!
Well Fred, I hope that saw turns out good for you. Most Stihl saws are good saws. As for the horse, for sure they can do some damage in short time.
