Need to do some woods road and walking trail maintanance. Was thinking of a folding saw and a pair of lopping shears but wondered if a Council Tool Hudson Bay 2lb or a jersey pattern 3 1/2lb axe would be a good addition.Might carry it along woodcutting to chop out the occasional blunder or limbs.

When I do trail maintenance I bring a set of loopers and my Stihl ms170 with a 12" bar, a great light weight saw for cutting saplings and brush. I try to wear my chaps whenever I'm cutting, but especially in the thick brush
