finally got a buck on our cabin trail cam

 

Bow should be fixed tonight. Fingers crossed.

 

I would be calling in sick and fixing that bow now.

 

Yeah, I'm not doing that I have people who depend on me doing what I do. Its going to be almost 80° every day until Sunday. PIA deer processing weather. If it were this time next month, no doubt.

 

Yeah I understand , sometimes easier said than done.
Sometimes we have to put our priorities in the proper order. Actually, having a job where people depend on you isn't a bad thing , I have the same problem.

Warm temps. are suppose to be gone by monday. Everyone is loving these 80* days in October, unless you're an archery hunter.

Small doe. It’s good to see that there are still deer running around my property. Of the 20 some hours I’ve been out I’ve only seen one and couldn’t get a shot off in time.

I'm sure you saw, but feeding/ baiting deer is illegal in all but a couple counties in Wisconsin now. Ozaukee county where I live, brown cty ( Green Bay) , door county and a couple way up in the northwest part of the state are the only ones that you can bait/ feed deer legally. The way that they determine where you can will pretty much all go to no baiting/ feeding deer pretty much by next year and for several years going forward Baiting and feeding regulations | | Wisconsin DNR
