Here is one that I kind of wanted to go after this year. He is messed up and would have been a great deer to take. But I heard a few nights ago that the neighbor got him. This was on the land we just bought and I dont know him so blocked out the face.
Bummer you didn't get him but hope you congratulated your new neighbor on getting him no matter how bad it hurt....
I actually haven't ever talked to him, he hunts within the same block of woods but is about 3/4 mile away. I just heard it through the other locals there and that is how I got the picture. Very nice deer though, hopefully I'll get to talk to him sometime in the future.
swags We have an old buck like that around here. In the three years I have known about him I have never seen him in person. The guy down the road said he saw him out in a field but I don't even have a daytime trail cam picture. Sorry you never got a chance at the one you posted pictures of.
We've got a few decent bucks but not much I want to go after right now. But that can all change as soon as the rut starts.
Nice looking 3-4yo he's got some good genes just needs some food for those rear haunches - his neck looks to be swelled slightly?
Ok thats it Certified, you have reached your quota of awesome bucks at your place! Amazing to see the size difference from a MD buck to an Ohio buck.
Yes he's got a pretty nice drop, I'll be interested to see if he has it again next year if he makes it. I won't shoot him but my wife might shoot him.
Picture of that little 6 I see all the time. At one point he was probably about 8' in front of me while I was in the blind earlier this year. He is pretty young and dumb lol
