I think it all comes down to is a person's interests and learned abilities. Without bookkeeping, mechanics, welders, loggers, miners, truck drivers, plumbers, electricians etc. who have the knowledge to get things fixed and working, we would be in trouble. Without the skills of teachers, organizers, engineers, doctors, nurses, librarians, computer engineers, etc. we wouldn't have the overall picture covered. Each of us is unique and what it really comes down to is what makes us want to go to work and enjoy doing a job for our working career.

I found out that I enjoyed bookkeeping, data entry, research and administrative assistant (secretary) duties and they were very fulfilling. I started out wanting to be an airline pilot and went to college and got my pilot's license. Marriage and children sent me in another direction and the opportunity to go into clerical work came up. I think I ended up in the right career for me.
