For me..I disagree...I use my grapple probably 75 percent of time...24.5 percent bucket...0.5 percent pallet forks. The grapple is good for moving piles of brush...making a firewood log pile...ripping out multi floral rose....popping out and moving field stone...moving steel beams....the list goes on and on. Some of those things..a bucket and pallet forks can't do at all...or at least they can't do it as quickly or as efficiently. I'm all about staying on the tractor when I get on the tractor. Hopping on and off is a sign of inefficiency ! Its different for everyone. Like this year...no pallet forks at all yet ! And some years the percentages vary.....with whatever projects are at the top of the list lol ! I've seen guys use pallet forks for moving brush...works pretty decent . I also know people who have a pin on bucket...and thats all they need. Not one person has the same sinerio.
Had to move the tilled up sod/dirt pile to a different location. This stuff is looking better and better! Love that tiller!
Started framing up the carryall today. Cut boards to 44" so the overall width stays inside the tire tracks. Drilled all the holes but will have to wait until Tuesday to bolt it all down as the box of 1/2" galvanized bolts didn't make it in bag with the other stuff I got. Wasn't going to make an extra trip for them. I called them and they will put back for me at the customer service counter. I'm going to run it as is for while before deciding on sides and other add ons.
Having a level pad to store/change accessories is key. (for pin-on setups) At least if you want to keep your fingers/fingernails... I too remember when quick-change setups were rare and limited utility. That's what the toolbox on the tractor was for - your fence pliers, crescent wrench (two of these if you came from money...), and BFH.
