For some reason, the Mission Impossible theme is in my head, with an image of jo191145 using camo facepaint.

Not sure when I'll get a chance to go back. Monday morning maybe. I'd say there's another 6 trailers of BL there if ya cleaned up good. I'd like to get another two of medium sized ones. Then I'll back off a bit. If it begins to sit like no one wants it I'll scrape up the rest. I can only be so nice ya know lol
    The two at home.

Wallingford had that 25 years ago. All you needed was a permit...basically a waiver form to cut there at your convenience. I had cut some, but the good stuff was taken right away. A couple old guys fighting over wood put the kabosh on it from what I was told.

No policing I’m aware of. Never saw anyone of authority asking questions. They just dump wood there and anyone is free to cut and grab. Whatever no one takes ends up in a tub grinder and hauled away. Both cost a lot of money so they’re happy when it disappears.
There’s another area right behind this wood dump they will dump branches and stumps, huge gnarly logs they figure no one will ever want.

The pic is right where the Portolet went ;)
