Rich, congrats on the stove. Pretty sure you will be the first and only member here with an Allure. We will have to live vicariously through your experience and the ample photos and videos I know you will be posting after that bad boy is installed. Can't wait to hear your thoughts after you have some decent run time on it.

Yes and I talked to Dane at the show when he presented this new line with the touch panel. I am also convinced that as long as he is there, the quality of these stoves and parts used in them will also be there. It is the best quality in the industry!

install went smoothly and worked out just as I planned on paper, the only thing I'm not crazy about is the old style duravent appliance adapters fit on the inside of the tail pipe and I didn't know they have an adapter now to go on the outside so I ordered a new style. It works fine the way it is with no leaks I just don't like it that way. The worst part of the job was cutting out the carpet and removing all the staples holding the padding. walls look much better with the brick paneling versus the old heat deflectors I installed back when I had the englander. Got alot of little things to finish up so today I'm gonna concentrate on getting the thimble and oak vent caulked up outside and clean up all my tools in the house and garage. During the week I can finish up the trim and moulding work.

Wow...I had no idea the old ones slipped inside, that's kind of odd.
