There is another pile that I did not take a picture of but it is much smaller anyway. This wood will be part of what we put up at our GTG next month. I made a new lane through the woods last week but when getting some logs out through there I was making some deep tracks so may have to do something different. Or I might haul some sand in there for the worst spots.
Nice looking pile of logs! I’m a little jealous, it’ll be at least another month, and more likely two before it’s that dry around here. I’m chomping at the bit to get started.
Dennis, you, old codger, you'd work most of today's youth to death in the first half hour of the morning!
Looks great Dennis, I just went put another bucket on wood from stacks to deck. Got tractor stuck as snows too deep... Botas don't turn well in 2 feet plus of snow No pics as its 15 degrees outside and 30 mph winds.. Phone not work .. But woodstove does
You’re right it’s cold. Great day to stoke up the IS! I’m sitting here dreaming about my Fireview to come and swearing under my breath every time the boiler kicks on. Below zero chill factor tomorrow morning. That’s too cold for mid March, even in Maine. Good luck with the tractor. Might be awhile until it melts enough although it’s been going pretty fast with the sun.
I'm probably leaving it home this year as it looks like there's gonna be enough cutting other places. That being said maybe we can get a quad out there .
I did pile up a few more logs yesterday. More to come. Have to prune raspberries too. Fruit trees are done. Of course there are always some odd jobs one has to take care of. But the big thing is that I am finally able to do a little bit at a time now rather than just wishing I could.
