Moved and stacked shoulder season wood, and took 2 loads of oak up to the house. Will stack today.
Got a new trailer yesterday, and that took a chunk of time out of the hot part of the day.
2990# gvwr. Now I can haul half a cord of oak, more if its ash.....or dry wood.

    Finally.
My truck has the heavier transmission and gearing etc, but someone made the point that perhaps its best not to push it. If I split and haul a half cord at a time, that works within my abilities for a day.

Pics to follow as the ash score ensues. Still waiting word on that. But that will be hot and heavy for a while.
