I like toads in the garden, but the neighborhood barn cat likes to snooze in there and frightens them away. However, the cat keeps the bunnies and squirrels at bay.
They're starting to make their way back into my yard since we finally got some relief from the dry spell a few weeks ago. I think most had taken refuge in the pond across the street. My dog (12lb mini dachshund) is thrilled about it - he just loves hunt-n'em froggies. When he finds them he likes to play "jump froggie jump!" - he'll scratch his paw, and growl at them, or kick some dirt at them with his nose until they jump. This usually continues until they escape or he accidentally smooshes them with his paw.
wow, I don't know what to think. those electric carts are the only way my wife and I can get about in those big box stores. Didn't realize we were entertaining.
Well, I am sort of in both categories. I am the old man with the cane, but I am also disabled with arthritis and an injury from a fall that can't be corrected until I loose the weight. Best thing I have come to is to accept people for what they are, all shapes, colors etc. It is behaviors that I find problems with. Behaviors that interfere with unwilling others.
