That is a problem with tarps and I don't think there is a good way with tarping unless it be small stacks. Your idea of moving with the tractor is good and will save you a lot of work.

I feel for you man having to do that much. I sorted through 2 stacks today to find the long ones to recut, cuz some where long some where not, PITA Got em all cut down though
No moving yet, but some pics of the whole mess White Oak, Cherry and Ash, and a 346xp Mostly black locust with some ash. These are all on pallets that I intend to move. Hickory, split and rounds Same pallet stacked wood but from the other side with the remaining splits to be stacked. Big ol pile of pine. Destined for the outside fireplace only. Snap crackle pop. The 28 ton Husky too. 9 lengths of Red Oak, Cherry, Spruce and Locust. Maybe to be milled, maybe to be burned. Time will tell The remains of my once 30+ cord stack. She is still about 15 strong. Tough to gauge the total cords, but once it is all moved and stacked the truth will bare itself. I am a firewood hoarder either way.
A beautiful hoard there buddy! As for the stack being in a poor spot, mine is the same. But it's the only spot I got. So I cover it with reclaimed rubber roofing. No leaks, stuff its really tough, love it.....
