Well….Its finally beginning to feel a little like fall here now and I’m revisiting my “small saw” needs. Perusing “Farcebook” Marketplace last day or two and ran across an Echo 3410 @$200 and a 3510 at $280. Both are new or like new. Since this is an occasional use kind of UTV saw and I don’t know if there’s any significant difference in the two or the newer 3511 are there any improvements in the model to just buy new?

As an aside, the Husky 435 saw I’ve used that belongs to my son suddenly wouldn’t throttle up no matter how carb adjustments were done. I’ve got the carb out and kit on the way along with fuel lines so pretty confident that will do the trick. However I NEVER want to take this carb out again! This is the biggest PITA I’ve ever worked with on chainsaws. If anyone has done it you will know what I’m talking about..So, when this little guy is running well again it goes back to my son (he has two) and he can keep it or sell it.

    Thanks!
