    Dennis, praying for a complete success for your eye surgery, and NO infection. I never knew you only had vision in one eye. I hope it is much improved with this operation!

    Two friends just had that done. One of them is 82. He has had CA of the lungs twice and a heart attack. Lives alone now. He got through that cataract surgery with no issues. The other friend is 66. He had the surgery in one eye without issues. The second surgery he got an eye infection. He can't keep his hands off his face. He got treatment and is healing well. Just has to stay out of the pool until completely healed. I kept getting eye infections. who knows where your hands go while you sleep. Now I wear my glasses to bed. With my bipap on, I don't role over on them. In the morning my glasses are all smudged up. I could just wear an old pair if it became a problem. That has stopped the eye infections. In any case, this is about you and your lone eye. Think of it this t
    way. Every time you took your saw out cutting wood, What were the odds of something getting into your eye putting you at high risk for that activity. I am betting the odd of getting something in your eye cutting wood is higher than that of getting an infection from the surgery. Prayers and good luck wishes to you.

    I am thankful that the last stage was relatively quick.
    His sons are almost men at 22 and 24. Still they will not have their father to guide them..

    My heart breaks for his parents watching your child wither and die. No words.

    Had the MRI today but sadly it will be another month before I can see the doctor. Doggoned summer vacations...

    Quick MRI. Had to be there at 11:00 and left around 3:30. Boy oh boy.

    My mom called me @ 4AM this morning while I was at work. She is hurting around her heart. The ambulance came and checked her, said her heart was skipping beats. They took her to the hospital. Please lift Miz Neva up, say a little prayer for her.

    Okay. Tomorrow's the big day for the surgery. Sad that I have to wait until the afternoon though which makes it tougher going without food and drink.
