    A pleasant update for you fine folk.

    Mike regained conscience on Saturday, and is out of the worst of things.

    Stopped by Friday and again today.
    He's whooped physically, and they still have him heavily medicated, but he's awake and talking.

    He has quite a road ahead, but hopefully it'll get smoother with no "hickups" in his progress.

    Thank you all for the thoughts and prayers. The Lord responded favorably.

    My son's young grandmother needs prayer tonight. Jackie struggled with drug use over the past 8 years, recently was arrested for it, sought rehab, did well for awhile, but ended up back in a relationship where the boyfriend brought her back to the city to purchase more drugs. This was her last time, both of them overdosed while on the train, he survived and will hopefully go to jail, while she was worse, having cardiac arrest for who knows how long. While dying on the train, some other scumbags took her purse, phone, ect. Having no ID, Jackie was transported to the hospital brain dead and is currently on life support. Matt's mom was notified 12+ hours later via fingerprints taken from Jackie and a google search. Currently Matt's mom is attending her step son's graduation, when after, the life support plug will be pulled if testing shows no brain activity. The dr said, dont be optimistic, most don't survive the length of cardiac arrest she went through. Prayers tonight for her to hear God's word when life support is pulled, God's touch for everyone that will be suffering with her loss, and God's touch to anyone struggling with addiction. Matt's mom was a previous relationship
