    The one with congestive heart failure, end stage chronic pulmonary disease, pneumonia, and atrial fibrillation is still in the hospital. He sounds better. I think he is going to rehab after this. Hard part is to keep him from smoking. He swears he is quitting, but just as soon as he get home, he'll sneak them. The younger one is at his daughter's home in Houston. The plan is for him to fly home (maine) next Monday. He can't walk unassisted but that is not easy because he is 6 ft 6 in. and grossly overweight, and has incontinence issues.

    My request is for God to help us all seek him through prayer and his word. That we could all trust his will be done on earth as it is in heaven. My prayer is that everyone who is hurting with emotional or physical pain be healed by the Lord of Lords and the King of Kings!

    Sorry, I've been away for a bit. Well, no I'm not so sorry either. Had a good time on vacation.

    But a bit of an update. My DIL had surgery Monday. All went very well and they do not think at this time she will have to endure chemo, but it is still to be determined for sure because of the melanoma on her back. But the surgery went very well; the hardest part was repairing a hernia from a previous surgery. She is a bit sore but not overly so. We are all relieved for now.

    Thank you everyone for your prayers and hope they will continue.

    I have an urgent request. My 24 yr nephew, Jimmy, has taken the wrong path. Started hanging out with his dad's side of his family, started doing meth, been kicked out of the house he was staying in Monday, been living in the woods in a box. He and his cousin stole some stuff from his dad, got locked up, bailed out, waiting on court date. Hopefully going to Salvation Army Monday for help. Praying that he wants help as bad as we want it for him.
