Thoughts and Prayers for those in need

Praise be to the Lord.
I'm home after a heart attack at 4am yesterday, life flight and emergency heart Cath and stent placed before 8am. Released from the hospital at 1 pm today feeling great.

This is a Miracle. Thank you God.

Thank you all for offering prayers of healing on my behalf. This has been a truly remarkable experience. We serve an Amazing God.

Because I don't know where else to put it. I know I have gotten many prayers, as many of you aware I was having serious Hip pain, to the point it was causing me to lose the ability to walk. After 2 years of frustration and dozens of doctors visits, more than in past Decades combined. I finally got a diagnosis of a torn FTL (a femoral) ligament that attaches at side of hip. A shot of Botox off brand has reduced pain by 50% in 2 days! Still lots of rehab to do but just realizing it will get better is

 

That is great news! Now I get why you've been splitting wood like a crazy man!

 

Nope started splitting before the shot.. Doc explained it like a rotator cuff tear.. It feels Gooder now!!

I need to thank my FHC family for all the well wishes, kind words, and especially your prayers.
You all have been there for me and I truly appreciate each and every one of you.

I know the power of prayer and the power of our Almighty Healer. And I must say that this amazing recovery is nothing less than a miracle from God. While I wasn't exactly blessed with good genes, I have been blessed with at least two miracles. The last one was 6 years ago and quite similar to this one, but without the heart attack and life flight.

God had kept me here on this earth for a reason and, while I may not know the reason, I do know it is my burden to spread His Good news.

That is fantastic news! We hope and pray that they lead you down a very good path to recovery. I know it has been a struggle for you with the pain and frustration. You always have a positive attitude and good words for others. That is commendable.

fishingpol ... I always try to smile and help.. This world has enough of the other attitudes.. However, this attitude does not apply to teenage boys..

 

Yup 2.5 years getting worse.. Pain increasing.. Because Dr said 20 years ago I would need hip replacement everyone assumed that was it dozens of x rays said no!! Tested yup torn.. He explained it was a lot like torn rotator cuff except every time moved hip, sat, stood, walked you were using it.. Quick and dirty before surgery later was to kill muscle for few months with botox. Kind of if this helps were right!! IT HELPS

Weird because I step carefully because mentally I expect stabbing pain.. Its sore but not the toothache you put a slushy on stabbing pain its been for years now!!
Yes I am thankful.

 

I'm catching up on all the requests for Prayers, and answer to Prayers, absolutely amazing how things have changed, we know that where ever God is talked about or discussed, he's in our presence, this is no different. I want to thank those who prayed for our grand daughters boyfriend, he's doing pretty good. Although a relative simple surgery, he's in some pretty intense follow up pain since the Dr tried to get all the fingernail out of the wound so it would not regrow another one, its still painful but, he's doing very well, thank you again for the participation in Praying for him. We need to be keeping our Families, our President, this country , this world in our Prayers, i'm sure the difference would be very rewarding.

 

Prayers for continued healing and return to good health.

Our small town lost four people in a plane crash this weekend, three of them related.

Pat, a contractor and father in his mid thirties, his teen daughter, his cousin and a friend of Pat's, who was an accomplished pilot named Ed.

Met Ed a few weeks ago about some ideas he had for our museum. He was excited to help. Worked with Pat on several projects including a new hangar he was building.

Ed had a heart attack and Pat, who had been taking some lessons, tried to land, but crashed into a field.

Please keep their families in your prayers.

 

So sad - sorry for the loss of your friends. Prayers for the surviving family and friends.
