That intersection is a few hundred feet from one of the schools I work for. Several years ago they banned trucks from using the road the Limo used. It’s about a 2 long hill that probably drops 700 foot. With 18 people in a van it wouldn’t take much to lose your brakes coming down that hill. Many people have had accidents at that intersection over the years.

Ugh, poor people. I hope they can change the traffic pattern somehow, maybe put in an escape ramp.

Scared me. I thought by Midwinter's post that perhaps Jack and his lovely wife were involved but this sounds like something different.

You have to excuse me as I've been away from home for several days and did not follow any news so not sure what has happened.

From what I heard, a limo that failed inspection, was being driven by a driver that was not properly licensed, had brake issues, ran a stop sign and collided with another vehicle.

All involved died to the best of my knowledge.

    Tragic, and senseless.

I'm sure the lawsuit will be huge, but who knows if anyone will be able to collect at the end of the day.

Not that money would make any of it better, but it's the way of things.

Update. Richelle bounced back. She is out of school for a bit, but she painted fence last week.
She is going squirrel hunting with me Sunday. Taking hunter Ed online to get her youth license. Funny how anxious she is to hunting. She will be using her mother’s 20, which mom hunted with as a young person.

Dang. I just finished 2 long trips and things went well. Today I had to get some work done. Put backhoe on tractor and moved it into the new barn then went to get some firewood to bring to house. Bang. That is the sound of my back and now I'm stuck to the chair for the rest of the day. Heat on back. Percocet in stomach. Cuss words said. Let's hope this is just a short lived thing. After all, it is keeping me from hunting tonight too and that is a crime.

That's a crying shame! I hope your chair time makes it better. And there is always extra stuff to get done after a trip.

The FHC sign will go over the fireplace mantel, that's easy, but I have a few different ideas for the sign from metalcuttr. I'll be playing around with it for awhile.

    Can't like that at all.
    :headbang:

    Do like and share that.

Hope your back heals up, and you can get out hunting.
