Woodwidow here. campinspecter is doing fine. He will need a triple bypass and possibly a heart valve replacement. Surgery may happen Thursday or Friday depending on other emergencies. We are sitting in the best cardiac unit in the province so it is busy. It is rather unexpected as he has seemed to be in such good health but these things always are really unexpected. Thank you for all the prayers and supportive messages. I will keep you posted when I can.

Mom's quintuple bypass and one valve replacement was very unexpected also in February.

 

Our thought and prayers are being sent. Waiting for a full recovery

 

I was all happy to see campinspecter posting, hoping all was well.

Not great news, but on the bright side of things, it's come a LONG way from when I was a youth as far as these surgeries.

I pray for the best outcome possible.
He's gonna go stir-crazy during the recovery time, I don't get the impression he's the type to "kick back" often.

Father, God. We come to you this evening asking for complete healing for our friend Allan. Please give the surgeon and staff the wisdom they need to make this procedure successful. Lord, guide their hands. We pray that your will be done. Father , please give Woodwidow peace and strength through this time of need, and we ask all of this through our Lord, Jesus. The name above all names. Amen.

Thank you Dear Lord that he got all that recent wood in before his pump needed rebuilt.

 

Woodwidow, I'm glad you are at a top-rated facility. Busy is good, it means everyone has a lot of experience. Ask about their post-surgical infection rates.
My mom was worked up for an aortic valve replacement that they could do arthroscopically, without open heart surgery. She didn't end up getting it, due to her dementia, but what medical science could do was astounding. I pray for the very best outcome for campinspecter!

 

God's plan is always perfect.

I am home for a day and then heading back. campinspecter is being very patient during his waiting time. And yes, he is glad he is so far ahead on the wood supply for both Mom and us. It will come in handy this winter.

campinspecter has a surgery date of Thursday morning at 7:30 AM Pacific Daylight time. I pray that he will not get bumped.
