Thoughts and Prayers for those in need

Thank you brother. I never thought it would be this painful. They didn't prescribe any pain meds. We are praying for a good pathology report and no more surgeries or chemo. I didn’t realize that a chemo treatment in your bladder would affect your taste buds. Nothing tastes like it should.

 

Thank you all for your prayers. Praise the Lord. I just got a call from my surgeon. Pathology report shows non invasive low grade cancer with a medium risk of coming back. I get this catheter out on Tuesday and have another bladder scope in May and go from there.

Any updates on Shawn Jordan's condition?
May God continue to bless him. I pray God blesses each and every person that has prayed for me. I feel so blessed that so many have been praying for me. I got the catheter out yesterday. It was painful and the pain continued through the night. I was able to get a few hours sleep. I am feeling some better this morning. Cancer is a very scary thing. I praise God for all he has done for me. I am thankful for each and every one of you.

 

Shawn is home now. He will be having PT for awhile. Don't know when he will be able to return to work...

Sure glad to see you on the menu, my friend. Got you on our church prayer list this past week.

 

3 months ago my wife's uncle was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. He passed away Monday night peacefully in his sleep. So a couple weeks ago my wife's mom went to the doctor for back pain. They x-rayed her and saw a spot on her lung. Sent her for a pet scan. Doctor called her today and said he is very concerned about it and is sending her to Baptist hospital on Friday. Our uncle that we just lost is her brother. My wife is very upset. Prayers for peace and healing would be appreciated. Thank you all. I'm proud to be a part of this group.

 

My wife has had pain in her right ear and tingling in the right side of her face for a while now. She went to urgent care when it first occurred. They said she had fluid behind her ear drum and it should clear up on its own. She hasn't said anything else about it since I was going through the bladder cancer stuff. She went for her physical today and her doctor is concerned she had a stroke or has a brain tumor and wants her to get a brain scan. Please pray for her. I am really struggling with this.

My wife, Carolyn, had knee replacement surgery yesterday and is now home. Looks like the first week or so will be the worst. Prayers for her recovery will be much appreciated.
